At the 2018 AGM the Committee decided that the Beginning and Establishing Teachers’ Association would look to host a conference at the Gold Coast in 2019.
BETA was unable to host a Southern conference in 2018 with the Commonwealth Games in full swing during Term 1 when traditionally an event would feature on the conference calendar.
However, previous requests from Townsville-based Prinicpals to visit the North Queensland region in 2019, which were also agreed upon at the AGM means that BETA will look to a Coast road trip for the team in the second half of the school year.
